About Me: Your Hostess with the Mostest

My name is Bethany and I am a college junior, studying interior design, who will be taking a semester off to participate in the Walt Disney World College Program during the Fall 2009 semester.  I will be performing a role in Merchandise and will be recording my experience here, at my blog, for the whole world to see.

This blog is meant to serve a few purposes:

1) While I was trying to decide whether or not I wanted to do the CP, I found several blogs where others had recorded their CP experiences, and reading those made me realize that this was something I really wanted to do.  I had so much fun reading other people’s WDWCP blogs, I decided to do my own for others out there thinking about doing the program.

2) While I’m at Disney, I want to be able to use this blog to keep my friends and family updated and involved in my life.

3) I want to use this blog as a journal of sorts, so that I can look back years from now and relive my own experience. It’s going to be all about making memories–and I want to make sure that I record as many of them as I can!

You can also count on reading about movies, interior design and decorating, other travel adventures, books, and crafts, since these are also things that I love.  But anything’s fair game!  If I have any thoughts at all on any subject, don’t worry: you’ll get to read them! 😉

If you have any questions about the WDWCP or suggestions for blog topics, etc., please leave a comment or email me at bcline42@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

  1. Dear Ms. Hostess with the Mostess,
I gave Marilyn Dennis your web address – hope you don’t mind. No telling who I will tell about your BLOG so you might as well give me open permission to tell whomever I want about your REALLY NEAT WEBSITE! I love it!

    I hope you’re having a Magical Day!

    Marilyn C.

    • Of course I don’t mind – spread the word! 🙂

  2. Hi – we were wondering if you can help us. My daughter got selected for a character position in Spring, 2009. She is thrilled to be selected but is a bit sad about the character assignment she received. We were wondering how locked in interns are to the character assignments they receive. Do you stay that assigned character the whole time or are you switched around?

    • Congratulations to your daughter! I don’t know much about the character performer path, because it’s sort of hush-hush. I can, however, direct you to this wonderful blog:

Brennna did her CP as a character performer and so your daughter might find a lot of helpful information here.
